Wholesale Shoes for Importers

Buyers sourcing wholesale shoes and bulk shoes need consistent sizing, saleable quality and paperwork that clears. The specification must not drift between containers.

The challenge

Predictable supply, clean paperwork.

Repeatable quality at container volume.

Importers and wholesalers carry the risk in the gap between factory and end customer, and the single worst surprise is container-level sizing drift - a run where the EU 42 quietly runs small, or half the lot grades a touch short, and you discover it only when retail complaints land after the container is sold through. We lock size grading to the golden sample, check measured length and width at final AQL inspection, and hold the same lasts across repeat orders so container two matches container one.

The second recurring headache is customs documentation. A wrong HS code, a packing list that doesn't reconcile with the commercial invoice, or missing material composition can park a container at the port and burn demurrage. We prepare packing lists with carton counts, dimensions and weights, support the commercial documentation your broker needs, and provide material/composition details and test reports on request so duty classification and entry go smoothly. See packaging & export and the US/EU import guide.

Margin in wholesale is thin, so you cannot absorb rejects or reships. Final AQL inspection (commonly 2.5 major / 4.0 minor, adjustable to your standard) screens construction, bonding, sizing and packing before the goods leave, and you are free to book SGS, BV or Intertek - we coordinate access and provide the golden sample as the reference. The aim is a container that arrives saleable, not one that arrives as a claim.

Volume planning is the other half of reliability. Share your quantity, assortment and required ship date and we plan material booking and line scheduling backward from it, with realistic lead times of 30-45 days bulk after sign-off - plus extra buffer around Chinese New Year, when the whole supply base tightens. Honest dates beat optimistic ones that slip. See bulk production.

Finally, carton and pack configuration matters for your downstream cost: ratio packs versus solid-size cartons, inner/outer marking, cube efficiency for full-container loading. We mark and pack to your spec so your warehouse receives and breaks down the order without rework.

The trading-partner reality

Their pain points vs how we de-risk it

Their pain points

  • Sizing drifts between containers and surfaces as retail complaints after sell-through.
  • A document mismatch parks the container and racks up demurrage.
  • Thin margins can't absorb rejects, reships or claims.
  • Optimistic ship dates slip, especially around Chinese New Year.
  • Pack/carton config doesn't suit the downstream warehouse.

How we de-risk it

  • Size grading locked to the golden sample; measured at final AQL on every run.
  • Reconciling packing lists, carton data, composition details and test reports on request.
  • Pre-ship AQL inspection with third-party QC welcome before goods leave.
  • Dates planned backward from your ship window with explicit CNY buffers.
  • Ratio or solid-size cartons, inner/outer marking and cube-efficient packing to your spec.

FAQ

Questions from this segment.

Can you meet container-volume orders?
Yes - share your quantity, assortment and required ship date in your RFQ and we plan material booking and line scheduling backward from it. Bulk runs 30-45 days after golden-sample sign-off; we add explicit buffers around Chinese New Year.
Will sizing be consistent across shipments?
Yes. Size grading is locked to the golden sample and verified by measured length and width at final AQL inspection, with the same lasts held across repeat orders so container two matches container one.
What export documents do you provide?
Packing lists with carton counts, dimensions and weights, support for the commercial invoice and shipping documents, material/composition details and test reports on request. See packaging & export.
Can you supply test reports for customs or our market?
We don't claim to hold specific certifications, but third-party testing (SGS/BV/Intertek) is welcome and we provide composition and construction details so labs can test the specs your market requires.
Can you pack in ratio packs or solid-size cartons?
Yes - we pack ratio assortments or solid-size cartons to your spec, with inner/outer carton marking and cube-efficient configuration for full-container loading.
What Incoterms do you work with?
We prepare the order export-ready (marks, packing list, documents) and typically quote FOB; EXW or other terms can be discussed. You can use your own forwarder or we can recommend one.
