DFM at sampling
Engineering feedback so your design is manufacturable at your target landed cost - material, sole and branding trade-offs flagged early.
You need a partner who can turn a design into a manufacturable, repeatable product - and hold the spec as you scale. That is the core of what we do.
From first sample to dependable reorders.
Brands do not get judged on the first sample - they get judged on order three. The anxiety that keeps brand owners up is spec drift: a midsole that comes back 2mm thicker, a colorway that shifts half a shade between dye lots, a last that quietly changes and triggers a wave of fit complaints and returns. Our entire workflow exists to kill that drift. A signed golden sample, recorded material specs, held lasts and tooling, and a documented bill of materials mean reorder three is the same shoe as order one.
The second pain is hitting a target landed cost without gutting the design. We give DFM feedback at sampling - where a welded overlay can replace a stitched one, where a blown-rubber outsole saves grams and cents, where mesh GSM can drop without killing durability - so the shoe stays manufacturable at the price your channel can carry. We would rather tell you a build is not viable at your cost before you order than after.
For newer brands, the risk math is different again: you cannot afford a five-figure tooling bill to validate one silhouette. ODM base styles let you launch a credible first product fast and cheap, then graduate to fully custom OEM once a model proves itself. We keep MOQ from ~500 pairs per design/colorway so a launch capsule does not become a warehouse of dead stock.
Branding is where a private-label shoe stops looking generic. We execute logos across the upper, tongue, heel, insole, outsole and box - print, embroidery, emboss, heat-transfer, woven label - and match Pantone references within material limits, all confirmed on the golden sample so what you sign is what ships. See logo customization and private label.
As you scale, quality is a process, not a promise. In-line monitoring and final AQL inspection catch construction, bonding and sizing issues before packing, and third-party inspection (SGS / BV / Intertek) is welcome on any run. The goal is simple: a line you can reorder with confidence and grow on.
